this is a study i did of a Degas painting. The original piece was in pastels, and larger, so medium translation came out a bit funny. im not to pleased with the left side or the womans head. but the brush strokes on her body and the towel im pleased with. I dont really work that much in paint, especially not watercolor. i dont get as much control. but i enjoyed this piece. however i think i could have benifited from trying to loosen up my brush strokes in some areas....

I will be undertaking a study of the human anotomy sometime in the near future,
not sure if you have and borders or barnes and nobles over there, but I bought
this book from borders. It was the best book I could find that had well portrayed and decent nudes.
Alot of work goes into how the muscle structure plays on the form.
